   works fantastic, exact replacement. without the remote you cant get past some of the prompts for the internet using the dvd controls.

   While I sometimes roll the dice when it comes to cheap items that I see will take 2-3 weeks to ship from China, I was pleased with this item. I already knew it would take a while to get to me, so time was not an issue. It works just as it should and we have had no problems with the controller at all. So far so excellent!

   This is a perfect replacement for the remote for my Samsung BD-D5500. My dog chewed up the original remote, and this player is virtually inoperable without the remote. Was hesitant about getting this one just because I was unsure of what I’d get.
   But, have had it a couple of days now and works flawlessly.
