   I bought this remote to work with a recently bought 2013 Samsung UN60F8000, which unfortunately only comes with a “smart” remote and no standard remote. This remote has all of the buttons that I was looking for, to include smart hub, camera, 3D, picture size, and others. The buttons have a firm and responsive press. The remote also has a light button which illuminates every single button, fantastic for use during movie viewings in the dark. Overall this is an brilliant remote that Samsung should have included with their 2013 smart TVs to start with. FYI – The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are not included.

   I bought the Samsung UN60H6400 on Amazon a couple months back. The TV was excellent, but wasn’t really crazy about the smart remote. I tried to like it, but really felt awkward to use. That, and because it doesn’t use an infrared signal, it wouldn’t control my soundbar. I finished up buying this SAMSUNG LED TV REMOTE CONTROL MODEL AA59-00637A and it worked out fantastic! It controls my TV without issue, turns 3D on and off, and accesses the Smart functions perfectly!

   Highly recommend!!
